Der Audience Data Supplier Eyeota veröffentlicht mit dem Eyeota Index eine Studie zur Nachfrage nach Zielgruppendaten. Dieser Studie zufolge stiegen in Deutschland die Ausgaben für Zielgruppendaten im vierten Quartal 2014 verglichen mit dem vorherigen Quartal um 52 Prozent. Die Gesamtausgaben für Audience Daten seien in Deutschland dennoch niedriger als im europäischen Durchschnitt. Die höchsten Ausgaben für Daten kommen in Deutschland aus den Bereichen Elektronik & Computer sowie kurzlebige Konsumartikel (FCMGs).
